How it works
Embarking on a journey into the realm of parametric design, I delved into the fascinating world of integrated coding. This innovative approach not only propelled patterns and energy-saving initiatives but also granted me the power to sculpt facade openings with an unprecedented level of variability. Drawing inspiration from the captivating interplay of sun-shielding and kinetic facades, I set out to create a simplified, yet dynamically modulating sun-covered facade. This remarkable component boasts depth-modulation and offers a diverse palette for the glass partitions, all orchestrated through the seamless interplay of #dynamo and #parametricdesign via #revitbim. In this narrative, these components transcend mere functionality, morphing into artistic statements that infuse character into verdant spaces and inviting walkways. In the image above, you're witnessing my initial foray into pattern iteration, featuring intricate depth modulation. However, there's more to be done; the pièce de résistance will be the addition of color modulation mapping. Not to mention, the instances currently stand too tall in their independent state.
This marked my inaugural venture into the exhilarating realm of free-flowing parameterization. It's a testament to my ability to not only drive instances but to orchestrate a symphony of variations. These variations span a gamut, from color, material, and finish alterations to the mesmerizing dance of depth morphing.
