Alternating Wire Bridge Example

This example was derived from one of the earlier footbridge designs that came from an earlier design. The deck was straightened, and the cable layout and linkage were alternated from left to right and rear to front in order to create patterns in the air of rotation if you look at it from the front. The subsequent planes along the curve along the top arch rotate on a concurrent angle in order to create a slow rotating shape-changing single piece. This particular feature draws you in and invites you to admire from any direction.

Elegancy

Below you can see how particularly simple yet elegant the entire code is that creates the geometry and other structural components all from one humble code. It is possible to see how the code arrangement is cleaned up and it is clear to see the individual purpose of each code area. In this shot, it is clear to see the rotation of the main beam as it rotates over the lower bridging deck.
